Warm memory of a cold day

Warm memory of a cold day / alone in NYC 2005 . One of my first mixed media photography projects. It's pre-image transfer, unrefined and quite immature, but still one of my favorite pieces.

The above photo was taken during a week-long solo visit to NYC. It was a freezing cold day and I was about to give in and go indoors, when I saw this happy family crossing the street, heading somewhere, possibly a party, as they were carrying gifts. Thus it became a warm memory of a cold day, as I still remember it quite fondly.
